Eco-friendly HVAC Options

High Efficiency AC = Eco-Friendly Coolness

***UPDATE: Circumstances have changed and while I cannot disclose details at this time, I must fully withdraw my recommendation of 360 Living. I have left this blog post intact for the sake of disclosure, but I cannot stress enough that I do not endorse 360 Living or any of their staff or products, nor do I recommend shopping with them for any product or service. ***

With the prominence of Earth Day, and prennial warnings about power consumption it's easy to feel guilty when we think about the luxury of cool air and comfortable living in the Toronto summer heat.

I was really excited to stumble across 360 Living while taking a stroll in Toronto's Designer's Walk on Avenue Rd. The showroom is so stylish it took me a minute to realize they actually carry fireplaces, Air Conditioners, Water Heaters and Furnaces. I thought it have to be a shwanky furniture joint, the place looked so nice.

Once inside you're greeted by custom fireplace designs from Blomus, two levels and a foyer of display items, and a warm welcome from the staff. It didn't take long to learn about the great strides made in developing high-efficiency appliances that offer excellent climate control and eco-friendly energy consumption.

This is a good year to go green with your heating and cooling. The Canadian Government has offered some amazing rebates that can save you lots of money - in addition to the money you'll save on your energy bills.
